Hello there, I am Lucas Lu. My great-grandfather was a famous landscape painting master in modern and contemporary China named Lu Yanshao, so I grew up surrounded by a strong artistic atmosphere. At the age of 5, I developed a strong interest in calligraphy and began my calligraphy education at the Shanghai Infinitus Art School. I studied extensively by copying inscriptions starting from the seal script of the "Shigu Wen"(《石鼓文》). Through eight years of perseverance and research, I passed the Level 8 certification for children's calligraphy from the Shanghai Calligraphers Association on December 30, 2019. This allowed me to officially join the Youth Calligraphy Professional Committee of the Shanghai Calligraphers Association and achieve the following results:
陆辉曾祖父是中国近现代著名的山水画大师陆俨少，家庭中艺术氛围浓郁，故而自幼耳濡目染，5岁时便对书法艺术产生了强烈的兴趣，并进入上海大无限艺术学校接受书法的启蒙教育，无论寒暑，从临《石鼓文》篆书入手，广泛临帖，勤勉有加。不经一番彻骨寒，怎得梅花扑鼻香？经过八年坚持不懈的努力和研究，陆辉于2019.12.30通过上海书法家协会少儿书法8级认证，正式进入中国上海市书法家协会青少年书法专业委员会，并取得了以下成绩：
As a student, I am deeply fascinated by the rich and profound traditional Chinese culture. Despite the heavy workload during high school, I never tire of immersing myself in it. During the Lunar New Year, I actively helped seventh and eighth grade Chinese language students learn traditional Chinese calligraphy, promoting and spreading our traditional culture.
中华传统文化源远流长、博大精深，陆辉同学徜徉其中、乐此不疲。陆辉在高中学习期间，虽然学业繁重，但他仍积极的在农历新年期间，帮助七、八年级的中文班学生学习中国传统书法艺术，弘扬传播中国传统文化。
After entering high school, I developed a great interest in design and technology as my knowledge continued to grow. Combining my strengths in calligraphy and traditional Chinese art, I invented 3D seal characters and completed the first set of 12 zodiac ornaments through a 3D printer, which gave me a great sense of confidence and accomplishment!
Later, due to the outbreak of the pandemic, I became aware of the difficulties faced by elderly patients, and came up with the idea of designing an intelligent system for recognizing human body postures in hospital wards. In 2022, I completed this system.
